LOVE...a FOUR letter word

Love is word we often use for a lot of things.  We say I love apples or I love blue candy.  But do we really know what LOVE is and how to use it.  I know there are times when I feel like I do not know what LOVE is but I know it’s not what I see on TV or what I see on my campus sometimes in these relationships.

The Bible talks about how Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

With that being said when was the last time you were patient or kind to someone that you really care about.  OR when was the last time you did something just because?  Love is a two way street and the reason know is because God should it by giving His son as the ultimate sacrifice for OUR sins.  Can you say that you will give your life for that person you care the most about?  I’m a believer actions speak louder than words and sometimes you have to show people better then you tell them.

Remember to learn how to LOVE yourself before you can love someone else. This means understanding WHO you are in CHRIST. Know that you are a daughter of a KING and that you are royalty. Proverbs 31 Woman…Check it out***

Love is not putting up with someone who verbally, physically, or mentally abuses you.  That is not what Christ intended LOVE to be.  So I want you to know if you do not have a special someone CHRIST can be that one.  If anything He should be your first LOVE rather man/woman. He died for US….could you say you would have done the same?

Social Media + Election 2012= NEW PRESIDENT

This year the candidates are hard at work to get your vote for the upcoming election in November.  The role of social media will play a BIG role on the effects of getting the word out about each candidate. The candidates have Facebook’s, Twitter’s, and any other forms of social media that will help reach the unreachable.

The articles that I read talked about how social media will impact the election of 2012 and how social media may be able to predict the future of some candidates. There were three main focuses which were audience, money, and influence. It talks about how the audience of social media has to be not only for the young voters but there are still older voters that are online using Facebook as well. The campaigners will need to be able to reach the older generation as well as the young voters.  There are more big brands spending of the money into the campaigns for some of the candidates. It stated that social media is one of the cost effective way to reach a targeted audience. The influence will be grand for candidates. Since many young people are not watching TV, the campaign managers will have to figure out how to put their messages on social media networks. Some are talking that social media may be able to predict the faith of the candidates in

Anytime you login into Facebook or Twitter you see something advertising about the upcoming election.  You cannot get around seeing different topics the candidates are talking about in their campaign. I see social media playing a huge part in this election because we have more and more people using the internet each day to where it would be foolish for them not to buy ads for their campaign. I do believe Obama will win this election because he has done a lot for this country and I do feel like he has many people my age interest at heart. For example, Obama has put me on my mom’s health care plan to trying to make college affordable for everyone to attend.

Welcome, Welcome, WELCOME to MY WORLD....

Welcome to My World……

Hello Blogger Family,

My name is Katrina Renee Curruth.  I am the younger of two children, which my mother Lucille Curruth had. My brother name is Kevin Ray Curruth.  We both have the same initials and we were both born in the same month. My birthday is July 4th and my brother’s is July 31st.  I was born in Little Rock, AR but I was raised in North Little Rock, AR.  Yes, it is a difference between the two cities.  Right I stay in Arkadelphia, AR, where I go to school at. Here is a link to look at the city of North Little Rock ...... http://www.northlittlerock.org/

I want to go into the field of ministry work with youth and/or family in the inner city areas. The reason I want to go into this field is that I feel that the Lord has called me to be one of His ambassadors to help His people understand the love He has for them. That their problems or their past will not determine their future because God said that “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11.

My major goal in life is to start my own non-profit that I will call Lucille’s House.  The reason I want to call it that is that my mom is always helping someone in need.  Sometimes they would stay at our house or she would give them anything she could.  Even though she didn’t have much but she is always ready to give.  First, it will start off helping under privilege youth with the different needs they have and I will eventually go to helping adults with their many needs they also have.

I want to start a blog about my thoughts on different things that affect our generation today.  The reason I want to start this blog is to inform other people that there are people abstain from drugs, sex, and alcohol some of the things that affecting our generation today. I want people to hear how I really feel about certain issues that women put themselves into.  My MAIN focus is the LOVE of CHRIST. I want young people to know that you can LOVE GOD and still live in this world. I want to be that helping hand to the blogger world on advice on some of the things I have personally experience or the things I have learned from other people in my life.

Rain Down on Me

It has been raining for like three days now.  It reminds of the Kirk Franklin song Melodies from Heaven, Rain down on Me.  Have you ever thought about how the Lord shower us with His blessings and mercy everyday we wake up.  Because He did not have to wake us up or provide us with the things we have here on Earth.

LORD LET YOUR GRACE AND MERCY FALL DOWN ON ME LIKE THE RAIN.......
