Love
is word we often use for a lot of things.
We say I love apples or I love blue candy. But do we really know what LOVE is and how to
use it. I know there are times when I
feel like I do not know what LOVE is but I know it’s not what I see on TV or what
I see on my campus sometimes in these relationships.
The Bible talks about how Love is patient, love is kind. It does not
envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not
self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices
with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
With
that being said when was the last time you were patient or kind to someone that
you really care about. OR when was the
last time you did something just because?
Love is a two way street and the reason know is because God should it by
giving His son as the ultimate sacrifice for OUR sins. Can you say that you will give your life for
that person you care the most about? I’m
a believer actions speak louder than words and sometimes you have to show
people better then you tell them.
Remember
to learn how to LOVE yourself before you can love someone else. This means
understanding WHO you are in CHRIST. Know that you are a daughter of a KING and
that you are royalty. Proverbs 31 Woman…Check it out***
Love
is not putting up with someone who verbally, physically, or mentally abuses
you. That is not what Christ intended
LOVE to be. So I want you to know if you
do not have a special someone CHRIST can be that one. If anything He should be your first LOVE
rather man/woman. He died for US….could you say you would have done the same?
